My forever friend

it's hard to know where to start.
what i want you to know
is that i love you,
and you hold a very special place in my heart.
friends like you are precious and few,
in so many ways i thank you,
you are my guardian angel, and you mean the world to me,
i am so lucky to have found you.
thankyou for wiping my tears when i feel sad,
for calming me down when i get mad,
for hugging me when i'm feeling blue,
for telling me "i love you"
for this, i know i can always count on you.
when times get tough, your kind, heart-warming smile
brings sunshine to all of my dark days,
you make me feel so much better,
with your caring, loving ways.
i owe you my heart,
because you've always been there
you're someone i can depend on,
and i know you'll always care.
you never judge me,
or ever put me down,
you always know how to put a smile on my face,
whenever you see a frown.
i trust you with my life,
you're the one friend i can tell anything to,
you know all of my most fragile feelings,
because i know my secrets are safe with you.
we've shared the good times,
as well as the bad,
we've been through it all,
and you're still the best friend that i've ever had.
you stood by my side, when no one else would,
you listen when no one else will,
a million years from now,
i'll love you still.
sometimes i think you know me better
than i know myself,
because you always know when somethings wrong
you're the best support system i have,
no wonder our friendship is so strong.
your thoughtfulness and caring
make you who you are-
a wonderful person,
with a really warm heart.
i hope that i can be,

you are my shining star.
i want you to know,
my friendship is loyal and true,
there isn't anything

whenever i think of the times we've shared together,
